Biography
Virginia Woods is a former Southwest Texas State student who attended periodically from 1934 to 1964. She is the widow of Wilton Woods, a former White Star at SWT and long-time friend of Lyndon Johnson.
LBJ100 Oral History Project
Mrs. Woods talks about how her husband was a childhood friend of Lyndon Johnson, and how she met LJB through her husband (around 1935). She provides history and insight into the college White Stars group, and recalls stories about their interactions with Lyndon and Lady Bird throughout his political career.
