Leonard Wilson

Biography

Leonard Wilson, originally from New Braunfels, was a first generation college student who enrolled at Southwest Texas State Teachers College in January 1968.  He was off campus doing his student teaching semester at San Marcos High School when he was asked to direct the Ebony Players first play - the production of A Raisin in the Sun that was performed at the LBJ Ranch at President Johnson’s request in 1972.
